When I was first asked for my opinion of the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement last October, I responded that the most significant factor was their central issue of 99% vs. 1%, and that this was, objectively, an anti-capitalist call.
She replied that she didn’t think that the OWS movement was making such a lofty statement nor that such would development.

Perhaps there’s some truth to the saying that it takes one to know one…that bank robbers, thieves and fraudsters tend to sense their own.
Either some phenomenal synchronicity or sensory recognition process is going on in Wall Street and other financial centers, or the system itself is a criminal enterprise to begin with and attracts like-minded conspirators. My money’s on the latter. more…

A bellwether (often misspelled bellweather) is used in language and literature to indicate a future trend. It’s derived from old English for a castrated ram (a wether) that leads a flock of sheep with a bell hung from its neck.
As a 20+ yr veteran of America’s gulag, perhaps I’m somewhat more sensitive to such indications…
For the purpose of this article, it also indicates the stalking horses of wealthy patrons, such as, Republican governors Rick Scott of Florida, Scott Walker of Wisconsin, John Kasich of Ohio, Chris Christie of New Jersey and Rick Snyder of Michigan (frustrated losers in every other area of their thwarted lives, despite corporate-media propaganda). more…
